Tours of the Cotswolds
Beautiful bright, cold and sunny morning in the Cotswolds. I am off for a walk. Follow me on www.richardscotswolds.blogspot.com
Locally based Tours of the Cotswolds offer set and bespoke tours of the area to include amongst others the popular towns of Stow on the Wold and Burford, as well as the villages of Bourton on the Water and The Slaughters.
Book your tour of the Cotswolds in my Chrysler Grand Voyager licensed to carry 6 passengers, where we can drive around the area or drive and go for a walk, you choose.
Richard Wilsdon was born in the North Cotswold village of Sherborne deep in the Gloucestershire countryside. I lived in Burford for many years and have been a tour operator for several years showing people from all over the world around the Cotswolds, which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).
If you want to go to some quiet spots (no tour coaches here) why don’t you let Richard take you around on a bespoke tour to see the "real" Cotswold area. Travelling around you will get to see places only known to people with local knowledge.
If you want to include a guided walk then we can even do that for you. Your choice. The Cotswolds still remain very green with a mixture of sunshine and showers. 10 miles of walking yesterday (mid August) and saw deer, Kites, Buzzards etc.
As well as tours of the Cotswolds we now offer tours of the UK including Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland
Richard also runs, in conjunction with the tour side of the business, a taxi/private hire business, enabling pick up from the local railway station at Kingham or Moreton in Marsh. We will also pick you up from London Heathrow or any UK airport as well as transfers from your hotel to the area.
